Waiting for out train to Cannes!
The festival building…
Seeing as we are much too poor to afford tickets to the festival, we opted to do a little exploring…
We visited the market along the way to grab ourselves a picnic lunch.
We then decided to take he short ferry ride over to Ile St. Marguerite for an afternoon picnic.

We made a new friend Chris Minardi completely by accident at the Cannes Film Festival where we both happened to comment on the over priced magnets at the film festival official merchandise shop. Then after chatting a bunch he invited my friends and I to come back and meet up with him on the weekend to check out the film festival night life (of course minus the VIP passes 
). 
Interesting fact(s): He is a budding film maker/producer/etc. who has spent the last year studying in Albania through the US Fulbright Program. For his Fulbright Project this is the documentary and subject he chose to look into, having no previous specialized training in the field of early childhood
